About

The first six months decide it. We help you see them.

In their first few months, a new starter is quietly working out whether they made the right choice. That working-out is mostly invisible to the employer until a resignation lands. Accolgo exists to make that window visible in time, gently, so a good employer can act while it still matters. The same is true when someone moves into a new role inside your own organisation: the early signs of a move not working are just as invisible, and just as fixable while they are still small.

Why this exists

I built this after watching good hires quietly walk, from businesses that had done everything right on paper.

I’m Dermot Dennehy. I’ve spent years helping organisations turn culture, leadership and service into the things that genuinely move a business. Across that work I kept seeing the same pattern: everything about the hire looked right, and the person still handed in their notice a few months later. Nobody saw it coming because nobody was actually watching the window where it happens.

Accolgo exists because that window, the first six months, is where it’s decided, and almost no one has a way to see it while there’s still time to do something about it.

What we believe that others do not

Onboarding software measures the paperwork. We measure the person.

Onboarding software has spent twenty years getting good at tracking whether the paperwork got done. None of that tells you whether the person is still glad they said yes. We think that question matters more than any of the paperwork, and almost nobody else is asking it.

Who it is for, and who it is not for

Built for trust, not for tracking.

Accolgo is for organisations that want an honest, early read on how new starters are actually settling, and are willing to act on a signal rather than a scorecard: when Accolgo tells a line manager that someone’s gone quiet, the expected response is a conversation, not a form.

It is not for anyone looking for a performance-scoring or ranking tool: it never produces a score, and it never labels a person. If that is what you’re after, we are not the right fit, and we would rather tell you now than have you discover it later.

What we will never do

Never a score

No ratings, no league tables, no labelling a person. Accolgo surfaces a signal and a next step, and it is always a person who decides what happens next.

Honest by design

Everyone is told what is shared and with whom. Nothing is collected covertly, and the private word is walled off to the Head of People.

Calm and human

Plain language, a gentle rhythm, and a prompt to have a good conversation at the right moment. Never clinical, never loud.
